In the first quarter of 2024, the geolocation gaming category has seen interesting movements on the iOS platform in France. Data from Sensor Tower offers us a glimpse into how these games have fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.
Pokémon GO continued to enjoy popularity, with weekly revenue peaking at around $208K and closing the quarter at approximately $46K. Downloads showed a similar pattern, with a peak of nearly 9.4K and ending the quarter with around 5.9K. Weekly active users started at 426K, dipped to 341K, and saw a recovery to 408K.
Jurassic World Alive, another stalwart in the category, had a quieter quarter. Revenue figures started at approximately $3.7K and ended at around $2.1K.
